Flatlay of ME
For the Flat Lay Cross Curricular Project, students were asked to create a flat lay to represent themselves to show their history: past, present and future self, and interests in their History class. To complete the work, students were to write an annotated list or paragraph to describe how their flat lay represented them in ELA (as seen in the example and example list below).
Heritage Cross Curricular Project
For the Heritage Cross Curricular Project, students collaborated in small groups in History and ELA to write about their own heritage and then to choose one group member's work based on specific criteria.
Then as a group, each member was to contribute to the Heritage Album for a final grade as seen the proposal below.
Each Album was to contain (as seen in the example above):
● Artist’s reflection on the idea for the album
● Thematic Cover art
● Group Name/ Album Name
● Credits
● Poem/ Song Lyrics
● Audio/ Visual production
● Editor/ Creative Director
